The Foundation for Excellence in Management Consulting is a 501(c)3 which was established in 1989 to "advance the knowledge and understanding of the art and science of consulting and the practice of management through research, education, and related activities."

The Foundation for Excellence in Management Consulting is a non-profit corporation funded through tax deductible contributions from professional service firms, other foundations, companies, estates, and individuals. The Foundation sponsors research and education programs and funds projects, scholarships, grants and awards in accordance with its mission.
