AMCF’s premier piece of annual research is the Operating Ratios for Management Consulting Firms: A Resource for Benchmarking. The survey tracks vital management issues and KPIs such as fee arrangements, financial operations, recruiting and staffing practices, and business development costs. The data is evaluated according to specialty, annual billing revenues, the size of the professional consulting staff, typical project size, and number of domestic offices.

Each participating firm will receive at no cost a Company Performance Report, which is a customized 20-page comparison of that firm’s performance results against those of similar respondents. In addition, all participating AMCF member firms will receive a free copy of the FULL industry-wide report. Non-member participating firms may purchase the full industry-wide report at a 20% discount.

Additional highlights:

• The final report will be available in electronic format as well as hard copy.
• Pivot Tool – The past 5 years of data has been loaded into the Operating Ratios Report. The new Pivot Tool allows users to research survey data quickly across many of the parameters and compare to similar type firms much faster.
